We are currently recruiting for a CNC Tool & Cutter Grinder Setter Operator on a permanent basis for our client based in in Fradley.

My client have state of the art 5 axis Tool & Cutter Grinding machinery, candidates therefore with experience with any of the following machines would be of interest; Walter, Rollomatic, Strausak, Saacke, Anca, United.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Time served apprenticeship ideally or required work experience (3 years machining).
• CNC Grinding – Ideally 5 axis Tool Grinding.
• Must be able to use all inspection equipment and read engineers drawings.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Be able to maintain product specifications.
• Inspect all products produced, utilising the correct measuring devices.
• Ability to make machine adjustments and trouble shooting.
• Monitor product quality while manufacturing.
• Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose problems.
• Full knowledge of all tooling required, routine maintenance, and lubrication of all machinery.

4 days per week (37.5 hours), Monday to Thursday, hours of work are:

• Monday:   09.00-19.00
• Tuesday:   07.00-19.00
• Weds:       07.00-19.00
• Thursday: 07.00-13.00

a starting salary of 35,400 is on offer for the successful candidate (dependent on experience level) with excellent progression.
